I found this video from a recently featured news segment about street drifting in Japan. Interesting to see how the media feels about the sport we love so much.

Coverage: USDM Jam ver. 9.0 Part I
This past weekend was USDM Jam in Mie, Japan. I almost didn’t get coverage from this event, but luckily my friend & photographer Masaki Hamashima was able to get the time off of work to make the 2+ hour drive from Osaka to Mie. Major thanks, Masaki!
Are we in the right place?
USDM Jam ver. 9.0!
Ben Sopra R35 GT-R
I’m sure most, if not, all of you have seen the coverage from Tokyo Auto Salon this year & noticed one particular GT-R that was getting a lot of attention..
This GT-R isn’t all show…
The GT-R definitely looks HUGE on the track in comparison to other cars, but let’s face it, it’s still bad ass.
Tokyo Auto Salon – Drifting FR-S
The release of the production model Scion FR-S has stirred up a lot of commotion recently. Even though it’s not available to the public yet, aftermarket giants like HKS and Falken have already built 2 FR-S’s to compete in D1GP in Japan. Nobuteru Taniguchi will pilot the HKS car, while Tetsuya Hibino pilots the Falken car.
D1GP, hurry up & come back to the US!

Liberty Walk : The JDM Purist
This is too awesome.
Mugen
My buddy over at JDM EGO posted this desktop calendar on his Facebook page. I just HAD to have one, so he told me where to get it & ordered one for myself.
It even comes with a clear stand to protect the pages. Clever! Can’t wait to take it to work on Monday!
